Heya Mrs Thomas And Everyone!
| Aaron Eamer | 14 March 2008 19:08:01 |
Hello again, visited the site a few times last year. Would visit the school but only remember one teacher from the whole list of them that I found on here. How are things going, just a bit curious as to how things run now and what the site looks like etc. Got any part time jobs at all, need some income? Haha, I'm a qualified 5-a-side Football Referee... In Education news though, still at University studying film production. Hoping to get one film screened at a festival in Cheltenham. Here's a link to the film - http://www.nightshift.co.nr/ - Don't worry, it's entirely work friendly. Nothing to worry about there.
| Dee Sweet | 13 March 2008 20:25:13 |

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped out at school today. We were all disappointed that the Woodhouse trip couldn't go ahead as planned. But the effort put in by all certainly made up for it. The children loved the activities and the food was delicious. I can't thank everyone individually, but a special thanks must go to the fathers who manned the barbeques and the parents who kept the food lines moving!

| Marilyn Gallagher | 16 July 2007 00:00:00 |
My grandaughter Autumn-Leigh Emery in year 4 did the Race For Life at Tredegar Park near Newport with her aunt last sunday. It was appalling weather and they were soaking wet before the race started and covered in mud and freezing cold by the end. We are all very proud of her for taking part and for raising over £100.00 for cancer relief. No doubt she will have brought her medal to school to show you, it is a great achievement and i think next year both her and Willow will be taking part.

She very frequently talks about Miss Hake & Mrs White and the other staff & her school friends and misses them very much.

At the childrens disco I noticed that Mrs White was taking some photos of the children, I was just wondering when they would be put on the website.
| Amanda Stockham | 08 March 2007 00:00:00 |
I absolutely agree with Mrs Damson's comments re: Mrs Lemming becoming the head. It's wonderful to have a teacher as commited to Filton Hill and the children there becoming Head of the school. As a parent I found Mrs Lemming to be a very approachable and kind person, whilst only meeting her at parent evenings I feel confidant that Mrs Lemming will lead the school well with a firm but kind hand. My son adored her as his teacher! I hope Mrs Lemming a long and happy time as head of Filton Hill.
| Luke Stone | 07 March 2007 00:00:00 |
Hi everybody!!!!! | |
| Mrs Damon | 06 March 2007 00:00:00 |
BIG congratulations to Mrs Lemming on becoming Headteacher (& congratulations to Filton Hill for employing such a wonderful Head!). Filton Hill is a fantastic school; my children love it and I love helping out there. I just hope that when I qualify as a teacher I will be fortuante enough to work in a school like this!

| Hazel | 22 February 2007 00:00:00 |
The Year 5 trip you went on looks a bit like the one I went on the start of this year for GCSE history. We probably did more different things to them. It's half term and it's raining - come on weather - we can go anywhere in this weather.
| Hazel | 22 February 2007 00:00:00 |
Oh I also see they have a picture of you Mrs T!! Tut tut! wanting to have a photo taken as usual.

| Reply to concerned parent | 01 February 2007 00:00:00 |
I also think parents who drive their children to school should make sure they are looking everywhere. I also have nearly been hit by a car who had come up onto the pavement. I didn't have my daughter with me but there were lots of child still making their way to school. I don't know what the answer to this BIG problem as I know parents do have to drive and then go on to work. Let's hope a child doesn't get hit before these parents wake up to themselves.
| Sylvia Windows | 01 February 2007 00:00:00 |
I am Harrison Morgan's granny. He is a lovely boy and he seems to love his school and talks to me about it when I ask. I see him every other weekend and we spend some time together. The other weekend I helped him with his reading and a maths paper. This web site is brilliant.
| Jade Casson | 31 January 2007 00:00:00 |

Hi, | |
| MOLLY & AMY | 08 January 2007 00:00:00 |
HELLO WE'RE SO HAPPY THIS YEAR AND I HOPE YOU HAD A LOVELY CHRISTMAS
| A Very Concerned Parent | 08 January 2007 00:00:00 |
I know I have said loads of times before about the parking outside the school but today after collecting my son from school we came out if the gates and a very lazy parent was parked on the pavement, then as we started to walk a few feet from the gate a lady driver came onto the pavement behind me and there was no need I think she was just to to park there as she seen someone else parked, I was aware of her and held onto my son who is in reception but she did still nearly hit another little boy who was behind me, who's parent did say something to her and I heard the lady say I'm sorry I didn't see him. What these people need to realise is that the small children do tend to run along the pavement to catch up with there friends and they aren't doing anything wrong as they have every right to be on the pavement and car drivers dont. Please think as a child is going to get seriously hurt.... PLEASE THINK................
| Sasha H | 04 January 2007 00:00:00 |

Many parents were standing having conversation with their friends in the middle of the pathway. During rainy days on either side the claysoil was very slippery, so, please see they converse at the end and not in the middle of the pathway. This is only request please.

| A concerned parent | 17 October 2006 00:00:00 |
I know that letters have gone out before regarding parents parking on the pavement, but today it was terrible I came to collect my child from school who is in reception, and to see so many lazy parents parking on the pavement and within a couple of 100 yards from the school gate. Could they please be more considerate of other children and parents with prams, as I'll feel the parents taht park on the pavement would be the first to complain if there child got knocked down by a car. We should do what Filton Avenue are doing by taking the numbers and passing them to the Police so that the parents and be named and shamed.

Hello Mrs T! Hope you're doing well. It's all right at Filton High but so much different. It's my birthday today and I thought I would just sign this because I got A LAPTOP even though I was told I wasn't getting much because I had a new mobile last month so I'm really happy! I'm going to the cinema later with Laura Dawes, Zoe Sharp and Jemma Weston so I will say hi to them from you, LOL! Anyways, I miss you loads and hope you're well xxxxxxxxxx

I wish everyone in the school just got on with eachother. It's boring otherwise if we are all just sitting arguing all the time!
